Exchange of Fire Between Militants and Security Forces in Kulgam Village

SRINAGAR: An exchange of gunfire broke out between militants and a joint team of security forces during a search operation in Badimarg Yaripora village in Kulgam district on Monday.

Reports reaching said that the militants were located in the orchards surrounding the area, prompting security forces to launch a massive search operation.

The operation is ongoing, with additional forces deployed to prevent the militants’ escape and ensure the safety of nearby residents.
