Srinagar, Mar 18: PDP leader Waheed-ur-Rehman Parra on Monday accused the Jammu and Kashmir government of being nothing more than an extension of the Governor’s Rule aimed at ratifying the August 5, 2019 move.

In a post on social media platform X, Parra said that after six years of criticizing the Lieutenant Governor’s rule, the ruling party now shamelessly defends it in the assembly. He alleged that opposition questions are being ignored and claimed that his questions in the cut motion related to Law, Tourism, Culture, Estates, and GAD have been deliberately erased.

Parra further stated that more answers can be obtained through the RTI Act than from the assembly proceedings, accusing the government of having “zero respect for accountability and transparency.”
