Srinagar, August 26 (KB): The seat sharing consensus between the Congress and National Conference continues, prompting the Congress to send its top leaders to Srinagar for urgent talks.
Top sources revealed to news agency Kashmir Bulletin that, Congress has rushed its top brass to Srinagar for crucial discussions with National Conference President Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah.
Congress leaders KC Venugopal and Salman Khurshid are set to meet Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah in an effort to resolve the seat sharing issue.
While details of the discussions are yet to emerge, sources indicate that the Congress is pushing to secure additional seats.
