Says, coming to Kashmir on the very first flight; will address supporters in Baramulla tomorrow
Baramulla, Sep 11: The Member of Parliament and freed leader, Engineer Rashid, on Wednesday lashed out at Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti, saying that replying to them and answering claims that he is backed by the Centre is like “spitting in the air.”
He compared “Tihar Jail” to hell while stating that he is coming to North Kashmir tomorrow and will be speaking to the people.
Speaking to the media in New Delhi, Engineer Rashid, as per the Daily Spark News said that he will be arriving in Baramulla tomorrow morning to express his gratitude to the people for their continued support.
He said he is scheduled to arrive on the first flight at 9 AM and plans to address the public at Degree College Baramulla, provided he receives the necessary permission.
“For the vote that you have cast for me, I am ready to stay in Tihar Jail for 100 years if necessary,” he said, adding his dedication to serving the people, regardless of personal consequences.
In response to a query about alleged support from the BJP, Rashid denied any association, saying, “My fight is bigger than Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti.”
Reflecting on his five-and-a-half-year stay in Tihar Jail, he described the experience as “like staying in hell” and dismissed his critics by saying, “giving a reply to them is like spitting at the sky.”
It is worth mentioning that Rashid’s rally in Baramulla is expected to draw significant attention as he addresses the people of North Kashmir, reaffirming his stand and connection with the public.—(DSN)
