Srinagar, Dec 08: In a tragic incident, a young boy, lost his life while playing cricket at Madan Kha, Kenihama in Srinagar outskirts on Sunday.

Eyewitnesses identified the boy as Adnan Rahim Bhat, son of Ab Rahim Bhat, resident of Asthanpora Rawalpora.

According to eyewitnesses, the ball struck Adnan in the ribs during the game, causing him to fall unconscious. He was immediately rushed to SMHS Hospital for treatment, where he was declared dead.

The untimely demise has left the local community in shock and grief.

Local police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. (ANH)
